November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, a time to come together to bring attention and awareness to diabetes. Junior Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. According to JDRF statistics, 40 children and 40 adults are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes nationally every day. JDRF has changed the way people live with T1D. Everyday, they are learning more about the disease in an effort to end it once and for all.
In honor of National Diabetes Awareness Month, 40 Winks Sleepovers & Events, LLC. is excited and very proud to announce we will be donating 15% of all sleepovers in the month of November to the Indiana and Kentucky Chapter of JDRF.
