So you think you're brave enough to host a sleepover, huh?! lol. Well, we wouldn't recommend doing it without our help, but whether you take our advice or not--here are some tips we've gathered off the World Wide Web and organized them for you in this little corner of the internet! You're welcome!
Make sure your child is ready for a sleepover.
Limit the number of guests. We think even numbers work best for kids.
Enjoy the sugary treats at least one hour before bedtime.
High-energy activities should take place at the beginning of the sleepover, saving the relaxing, low-key activities before bedtime.
Keep the sleepover in one area of your house to eliminate the mess.
Don't schedule too many activities. Let the kids enjoy being with other kids!
Encourage a time to start winding down. Together choose a "bedtime."
"Check-in" periodically just to make sure things are going smoothly.
Simplicity is key when it comes to food. Pizzas for dinner, cereal for breakfast!
RELAX! Get ready to make some seriously good memories!
Let's do it! Be prepared for little to no sleep, but lots of fun! And sleep is totally overrated anyway!
